Privacy Policy

Parent Life Solutions is a website run by Eris Lasku, a licensed life insurance agent (Texas license #2912489), through Lasku Financial LLC. This page explains what information this website collects, why I collect it and what I do with it. If anything here is unclear, email me at laskufinancial@gmail.com.

The short version

  • You can use the calculators without giving me your name or email.
  • If you fill out my intake form, your answers go to my private account. I use them only to prepare your options.
  • I never sell your information.
  • Your health answers are deleted once your application is submitted or once you tell me you aren't moving forward.
  • You can ask me to see, correct or delete your information at any time.

What I collect

When you use a calculator or estimator. The numbers you enter (like age, coverage amount and term) are used to show your estimate on the page. Nothing is sent to me unless you choose to continue to my intake form.

When you fill out my intake form. I ask for:

  • your name, email and phone number
  • the details behind your estimate (age, sex, tobacco use, coverage amount and term)
  • your situation (why you're looking, who depends on you, income, mortgage and other debts, college goals, current coverage and budget)
  • your state, height and weight
  • health questions (conditions, medications, pregnancy and anything happening right now)
  • driving and records questions
  • anything else you choose to tell me

Saved progress on your device. If you leave the form partway through, your answers are saved in your own browser for up to 48 hours so you can pick up where you left off. That copy stays on your device. It is cleared when you submit or when the 48 hours are up.

When you book a call. Booking uses Google Calendar's appointment scheduling. Google collects the name and email you enter so the meeting can be set up.

When you email me. I keep your email so I can reply.

Basic site data. This website is hosted by Squarespace, which uses cookies and collects standard visit data (like pages viewed and browser type) to run the site and show me general traffic numbers. Some pages include YouTube videos. YouTube may set its own cookies when a video plays.

How I use your information

  • to prepare your life insurance options and walk you through them
  • to email you about your options, and to call or text you only if you ask me to
  • to send you a short personal video by private link, if that's part of how I'm helping you
  • to help you apply with an insurance company, if you decide to

Who I share it with

  • The insurance company you choose to apply with. Your information is shared with them electronically only if you decide to apply.
  • The services that run my business. Your intake answers are stored in my private Google account (Google Sheets and Gmail). The site runs on Squarespace. Booking runs on Google Calendar. These companies process the information on my behalf.
  • When the law requires it. For example, to respond to a valid legal request or to meet rules that apply to licensed insurance agents.

I do not sell your information or share it with anyone for their own marketing. Mobile numbers and text messaging consent are never shared with third parties for marketing.

Your health information

Your health answers are used only to prepare your options. They stay in my private account and are not included in the email notices I receive. They are shared with an insurance company only if you decide to apply. They are deleted once your application is submitted or once you tell me you're not moving forward.

How long I keep it

I keep your contact details and non-health answers for as long as I'm helping you and for as long as any record-keeping rules that apply to licensed agents require. After that I delete them. Health answers follow the shorter rule above.

Your choices

  • Email: reply "unsubscribe" to any email from me.
  • Texts: reply STOP to any text. Message and data rates may apply.
  • See, correct or delete your information: email laskufinancial@gmail.com and I'll take care of it.

Keeping it safe

My accounts are protected with two-step verification and the intake sheet is not shared with anyone. No system is perfectly secure, but I limit what I collect and who can see it.

Children

This site is meant for adults. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

How I use Google account data

I use a small private app, registered with Google, to manage my own business email and documents. It only connects to my own Google accounts. It never accesses anyone else's Google account. My use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Changes to this policy

If I change this policy, I'll update the date at the top of this page.
